The Process
Design Consultation: We begin with an on-site or zoom meeting to learn about your needs, wants and to assess your space and take measurements if required. From the consultation we will create a package specific to your project which consists of a site report, a look-sheet and a quote for our proposed design fees. The quote outlines the hours and procedures estimated to complete your project. We will then work with you to make adjustments that match your requirements, priorities and budgets.
Design Concepts: Once you have accepted our quote, we then begin working on your concept designs, plans and renders. We work through each process outlined in the fee proposal, communicating with you at every stage until the final design concept gets your seal of approval.
Ordering: This stage of the project sees us collate a full product/finishes schedule so you can see a breakdown of where your funds are being allocated. We remove frustration by ordering all of the necessary items and products from our range of trusted suppliers to make the process as seamless as possible.
Management: We manage all deliveries and installations to ensure the fastest, most effective turn-around that is stress free and works with your time schedule.
Completion: Upon completion of your project, we remain in contact to answer your questions and assist you with any further requirements and providing costings if necessary. We have a zero-defects policy and ensure work is completed to your satisfaction.
Sustainability
Pocketspace is committed to bringing environmental design conversations to the highest priority in every consultation. It is important to us that we take the lead in environmental responsibility as designers and specifiers.
Our role to decarbonise interior designers starts with selecting one product over another, and we need your help to support our journey in pursuant of New Zealand made product, locally sourced parts and environmentally accredited products with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)’s done if possible.
We can radically reduce our homes and office internally to make them more energy efficient with the new H1 Ventilation guidelines, enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits while achieving a Whole-of-life embodied carbon reduction; from energy through to carpet and tapware selection.
